Sea kayaking and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of Minami-Awa, Mitoko Bay

南阿波 水床湾でのシーカヤック&スノーケリング
There are many bays and inlets in Minami-Awa that even beginners can easily navigate while enjoying the beauty of uninhabited islands and beaches.
The programme provides environmental learning while interacting with nature, and is offered by certified instructors of the Japan Recreation Canoe Association, among others.

Participants learn about the marine environment by observing colorful fish and coral in the clear waters. Many corals grow wild, and visitors can also learn about the marine environment through the experience of coral transplantation.

Near Takegashima, there is a geological formation that was uplifted by crustal movement thousands of years ago. Glass boats offer programs that allow visitors to experience the workings of nature both at sea and underwater, without the need for snorkeling.
