To zero marine litter Roadside Station/Sea Station Shodoshima Furusato Village

Roadside Station/Sea Station Shodoshima Furusato Village, a hands-on, comprehensive leisure facility facing the beautiful Seto Inland Sea, offers a wide variety of hands-on activities such as sea kayaking, sea fishing, and crafts workshops.
For the craft workshop using sea glass and driftwood that washes up on the beach, a portion of the participation fee is used to support activities aimed at reducing marine debris. In addition, we have installed Kagawa Prefecture's first “sea litter pickup box,” a trash bin exclusively for litter that has drifted ashore. This provides an environment where anyone who visits the ocean can collect and dispose of litter at any time.

(1) Sea kayak experience / 90 minutes / Adults (junior high school students and older): ¥4,950 / Children (3 years old to elementary school students): ¥3,300 / Maximum 50 people / Late April to late September
(2) Fishing from a boat / 3-4 hours / ¥25,000 per boat / Up to 4 people / April to October
(3) Somen-nagashi experience / 2 batches of somen noodles per person / ¥880 / Minimum 15 people, maximum 50 people / Late April to October
(4) Craft workshops / 40 minutes / ¥990 and up (depending on the content) / Minimum 5 people *depending on the content up to 30 people / all year round
