In this program, you will have a valuable indigo dyeing experience in the workshop of a craftsman who uses indigo leaves to make dyes and even indigo dyes. Visitors can also experience making their own unique chopsticks using scraps of wood produced in Tokushima Prefecture during processing.
Visitors can enjoy interacting with artisans through the experience of indigo dyeing using traditional techniques while feeling the nature of the indigo fields, which are beautiful from season to season.

【Programme Outline】
First, participants will experience indigo-dyeing a handkerchief, and then practice making chopsticks by sharpening them. For an additional fee, participants can dye scarves, furoshiki (wrapping cloth), tablecloths, etc., instead of dyeing handkerchiefs.
