人口400人の村で持続可能なまちづくりを考える
Okawa-mura is a small, nature-rich village surrounded by mountains. It once flourished as a copper mine and had about 4,000 inhabitants, but has now lost 1/10th of its population due to depopulation. The village faces many challenges, such as a declining population and the occurrence of natural disasters. This is an educational programme that aims to help people independently consider the issues of modern society through interactions with the people living in Okawa-mura.


・Required time for the programme: 3.5-4 hours.
・Time of year: mid-March - November.
・Minimum number of participants: 15
・Maximum number of participants: around 40.
・Price: 3,500 yen/person.
