Omogo District is located at the southern foot of Mt. Ishizuchi, the highest mountain in Western Japan, and is known for Omogo-kei Gorge, a nationally designated scenic spot. The beautiful and dynamic nature in this area is home to KAMEBARA (monolithic rock), which is one of the most spectacular spots in the valley.
The Omogo Mountain Museum is the only museum of mountain culture in Shikoku, where visitors can learn about the history of the area through its flora and fauna, and also learn about sustainable environmental conservation and town planning by imagining the past, present, and future.

 【Programme Outline】
■Learn about the Omogo-kei Gorge with a guide about the following
・The spectacular scenery of unspoiled nature
・How the monolithic rock (KAMEBARA) was formed
・Why the water is emerald green

■Learn about the history ,ecology and biodiversity of plants and animals from the curators at the Omogo Mountain Museum.

 General admission (high school students and older): 300 yen
 Elementary and junior high school students: 150 yen

This program allows participants to think about the SDGs in the context of issues such as the deer problem, which has become an issue in recent years.
