Uwajima City

宇和島市
Uwajima City is in the south of Matsuyama City in Ehime Prefecture where it takes about an hour and a half by expressway.
This town, which is warm throughout the year, is the castle town of Hidemune, the eldest son of Dokuganryu Date Masamune, the first feudal lord of the Uwajima domain.
The production of pearls, red seabreams and citrus fruits here is the highest in Japan.
It is a town where you can enjoy watching bullfights, which are rare in Japan.
