The Peach Blossom in Kamikuki Village Community

上久喜の花桃
Over the past 15 years, Peach Blossoms have been planted to create a new landmark in the district. These lovely white and pink flowers are tolerant of cold weather and fill the mountain village. They bloom after the gourd cherry blossoms, and when the flowers overlap with the village on the mountainside, they create a magnificent scene. The best time to see them is around mid-April (or later, depending on the climate of the year). On the way to Kamikuki, there is also the Kuki Bridge, so be sure to see the sunken bridge as well.
