Fishing in Tosa Bay, Kochi Prefecture
土佐湾沖 釣り
Tosa Bay is an arc-shaped bay stretching from Cape Muroto to Cape Ashizuri in Kochi Prefecture. The bay is famous for its warm climate, which promotes the cultivation of various vegetables. Its pelagic fishing industry, which takes advantage of the Kuroshio Current, is also well known for catching a large amount of skipjack tuna.
