Ryuo Fall

龍王の滝
It is a famous waterfall that has been selected as one of the "100 Best Waterfalls in Japan" and "40 Best Waterfalls in Tosa".
A 50-minute drive from the Otoyo IC and a 10-minute walk from the parking lot will take you to the 7th station of Kajigamori Prefectural Natural Park.
The waterfall has a drop of 20 meters to the bottom and is inhabited by satsukimasu salmon and salamanders.
It is said to be the place where the famous monk, Kukai, practiced asceticism in his youth, and the Goeido (hall dedicated to the sect founder) and the inner sanctuary of Jofukuji Temple are located nearby.
In winter, the waterfall freezes and you can enjoy a magnificent view.
