Oh'asahiko Shrine
阿波國一の宮 大麻比古神社
It is the most prestigious shrine in Tokushima Prefecture and is dedicated to Amenofutodama-no-Mikoto (Oh'asahiko-no-Mikoto), god of agriculture and industry, and Sarutahiko-no-Mikoto, god of traffic safety and protection from bad luck. On the first three days of the New Year, the shrine attracts more than 300,000 visitors from within and outside of the prefecture.
