Shiroyama is a mountain where earthworks and fortifications were built in preparation for enemy attacks.
Hiketa Castle was the first castle in Sanuki Province (＊Sanuki is old name of Kagawa Prefecture.) built with all-stone walls around the end of the Warring States Period. The stonewalls from that time still remain.
