【Programme Overview and Objectives】
BARICLEAN properly processes waste generated in Imabari City using state-of-the-art processing technology while effectively utilizing energy generated in the process. This waste treatment facility was built based on the concept of ""a safe and secure facility that connects people, communities, and generations.""
In addition to processing waste, the facility is equipped to serve as a disaster prevention center where citizens can evacuate in the event of a disaster. In this program, participants will experience an evacuation center using actual cardboard partitions and manhole toilets that are actually used in evacuation centers.

By assembling actual corrugated cardboard partitions that are used in evacuation shelters, participants will improve their awareness of disaster prevention and further deepen their understanding of the SDGs.
