Edo-Higanzakura in Shimokubo

The Shimokubo Edohigan Cherry Tree, over 300 years old, is one of the most remarkable single cherry trees in the prefecture, boasting a trunk circumference of 6.66 meters and a height of 19 meters. Its naturally beautiful shape has earned it recognition as a designated Natural Monument of Miyoshi City.
