Funakubo Tsutsuji Park is located 3km southeast of Koutsuji Temple.
3.5 hectares on the north side of the ridge is a natural colony of azaleas, estimated to be 300 years old.
Funakubo finally wakes up from the long winter in mid-April, when the autumn leaves are in full bloom on the flat ground.
From mid to late May, the second flowering season begins, and the large fiery brick-colored azaleas bloom in full bloom.
