Team Building and an Evening at
Yashima, the Jewel of the World
Enjoy a 2-day, 1-night experience at Yashima in Kagawa Prefecture, celebrated as the "Jewel of the Seto Inland Sea." Engage in team-building activities surrounded by breathtaking scenery, immerse yourself in Japanese culture at Yashimaji Temple, watch a modern circus performance at magic hour—right before sunset—and end the night with cocktails and a dinner featuring ingredients from the Seto Inland Sea.
1. Team-building activities will involve participants becoming residents of
Shikokumura, a park filled with traditional buildings. Participants will engage in a variety of activities, such as calligraphy and mochi pounding, and they will get to watch kagura dance performed by shrine maidens. There will also be an award ceremony held on a kabuki stage, an experience entirely unique to this location.
2. Visitors will head to the Honbo Kyakuden, a magnificent building in the historic Yashimaji Temple. There, guided by the head priest of the temple, they will get a chance to experience Japanese culture through tasting tea and wasanbon sweets.
3. Yashima is also a national park. There will be an opportunity to unwind with cocktail hour at
Yashimaru, a building that seemlessly blends in with the beautiful scenery of Yashima. Here, participants will get the unique experience of watching the sunset over the Seto Inland Sea as well as a performance by the Setouchi Circus Factory.
4. Dinner will be prepared at the venue by a local chef who is well versed in ingredients found in the Seto Inland Sea and its islands. A nighttime party on top of Mt. Yashima can also be arranged.
