Mount Ishizuchi
西条市石鎚山
Mount Ishizuchi is located on the border of Saijo City and Kuma Kogen Town in Ehime Prefecture and is designated as Ishizuchi Quasi-national park.
There are two routes: the “Joju Route”, which climbs the mountain from the Saijo City side via a ropeway from Ishizuchi Shrine Jojusha, and the “Tsuchiya Route”, which climbs the mountain from Tsuchiya via the Ishizuchi Skyline or UFO Line.
From the summit, you can see the Seto Inland Sea and, if the weather is good, the mountains of the Chugoku and Kyushu regions, giving you an indescribable sense of accomplishment and a wonderful view.
